Born for it
In the scorching summer of 2023, the crew found a wild new spot to test their mettle. For a whole week they revved up over 20 cars, motorbikes and buggies, tearing through a brutal 2 500-kilometer course in the Tien Shan mountains — Bishkek, Tokmok, Kemin, Karakol and the high-mountain lake Son-Kul.
The road threw everything at them: towering passes, crazy hairpin turns, nights in tents, and weather swings from a bone-chilling -10 to a scorching +40 degrees. But these folks ain't ones to back down.
Revamped roads: MadWay mission
In every rally, the crew steps up big for charity. Using MadWay Rally's resources, the forgotten Ornok-Kemin road got a makeover: for two decades this 100+ km passage lay dormant, blocked by debris.
Now locals and travellers alike can cruise through a revamped route with breathtaking vistas. To mark the occasion, a metal sculpture emerged by the roadside — crafted from car and motorcycle parts, along with wrenches.
Entertainment extravaganza
On the final day, at the equestrian arena in the heart of Cholpon-Ata, a colossal charity spectacle unfolded. Roaring engines and blazing lights set the stage as performers electrified the crowd.
All ticket proceeds were donated to the Kyrgyzstan charity fund. Locals snapped pics with the tricked-out rally cars — and the night went out with a bang: a dazzling fireworks show.
